We need a bigger van. Actually, we need a bigger garage. Nope, we need a bigger van, a bigger garage, a bigger house, more land and more money.
I've just spent the morning taking all of the kart stuff out of the van and putting it into the house. The hallway looks like a garage, and there's a Tony Kart in the living room.
Kate's gigging with the Beckenham Concert Band this evening. The drummer has dropped out, so Kate's playing drum kit, percussion and timpani (3 of them). That's a lot of kit, and it needs the van.
Usually after a race, the kart stuff goes back into the garage, with two Tony Karts on vertical stands. But, Kate's in the process of changing the headstock bearings on my GasGas trials bike (thanks Kate 🙂), and my bike's in bits in and around the garage. So kart stuff has had to move into the house.
It's definitely all change. Huffing and puffing and dragging stuff to and from the van. All done though, and ready to go.
We were at the PFI track yesterday, and Kate and I were very impressed at the garages you can rent there... for kart stuff, not percussion!
